Roger Federer vs Andy Murray – Night Session

What a crazy day it was yesterday on Rod Laver Arena! Every lower ranked player got the chocolates, capped off with Stan Wawrinka finally conquering Novak Djokovic at Grand Slam level, 9-7 in the 5th set.

This is just a reminder that the play for tonight was tweeted yesterday:

Suggested Bet: Roger Federer h2h at $1.91 at Sportsbet with 5 set refund

Confidence: 80%

NOTE – You could play Murray 3-1 as a form of saver perhaps at the TAB with their promotion. Just an idea…

Keeping it simple tonight.

On form and fitness, this has to be the play, especially considering the movement and precision shown by Roger Federer against Tsonga. I would argue that form would beat almost anyone on tour. He looks to be very comfortable with the new racquet now, and what was most interesting was the altered gameplan that worked a treat against Tsonga. What does he have in store for Andy tonight?

Through the first 4 round, Andy Murray hasn’t done anything to set the place on fire, but to be honest he never really does in the opening rounds of a Grand Slam. Down 1-5 to Millot, dropping a set to Robert, and generally looking lethargic at times vs Lopez isn’t the form that makes me want to back him though.

Murray is +13 winners to unforced errors across the tournament, compared to Federer who is +69.

Form and fitness are on Roger’s side, as well as the night matches early in the tournament. When you include the extra insurance of 5 set refund, this is worthy of a best bet tonight.
