BENJAMIN Bonzi vs Raymond Sarmiento
I have been really impressed with the recent hardcourt form of Sarmiento over the last few tournaments at Challenger level in the US. Wins over Quigley, Smith, Kudla, Rubin and Halys, as well as a tight straight set loss of Liam Broady (who went on to make the final).and a 3 set loss to Mmoh (went on to win tournament).
Bonzi on the other hand has played 3 Challenger matches on hardcourt for 2017 to date, with his only win coming against 1121 ranked Alvarez Varona, before recording straight set losses to Berrettini and Purcell. Bonzi is a pure claycourter, and I am not sure he has the game to match it with Sarmiento here.
I genuinely thought on form that Sarmiento would start at around the $1.35 mark in this match on hardcourt on recent form, so I am pretty keen to make a play on the $1.63 that is on offer for Sarmiento at Pinnacle.
