French Open 2016 Day 3

Day 3 French Open action gets underway from 9.00pm and Ace has a few plays ahead for the day.

Bets carried over from last night

BEST VALUE for Day 2
Bet 1 – 3 unit bet
Hesse to defeat Townsend at $3.38 at Pinnacle
I have been following Hesse for a year or so now, and firmly believe this price represents exceptional value against Townsend. After winning a few units on Townsend during the US hardcourt swing, I am more than happy to oppose her here. I think her ITF clay court form is overvalued here, and was shocked when I saw the price on Hesse in her home grand slam. I was anticipating Hesse at perhaps $2.20 at a maximum, so $3.38 is exceptional value.

BET 2 – 2.5 unit bet
Bertens to win first set against Kerber at $2.79 at Pinnacle
As I discussed a bit earlier in the year, Kerber seems to be a player that seems to get better as matches go on generally. In the past I have bet Kerber to win the second set in matches, as she is prone to a slow start from time to time. Bertens is full of confidence coming off her title win last week, and I really think on form this is a great value bet to kick off day 3. I like Bertens to win, but like the first set bet even more.

Stay tuned to Twitter in the next few hours as I post some more plays for Day 3! As always, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch on Twitter and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!
