Bonaria: Maps very well today.. but last prep peak run was over 1600m. Never won first up but goes okay with wet tracks.
Solicit: Goes well fresh but haven’t been able to catch her for a win in 8 runs now. Top of weights and first up over this distance looks a little unsuitable. Fine on ground.
Politeness: The wetter the better for this lady. Finished off last prep with a very huge win at Sandown over 1500m. Last prep first up just beaten 0.4L at course and distance by Girl Guide. Meets 1kg better off today and maps nicely from barrier.
Spirits Dance: Best runs on dryer ground but loves track, distance and has ability based on previous prep runs including just behind Politeness and Girl Guide here last prep.
Girl Guide: Never runs a bad race, ever. Loves the track and distance. 2 wins from 2 on soft tracks but one run on wetter ground was for a place. Could find her out. Barrier 3 maps perfectly.
Griante: Good horse who only managed the one win last prep but that was over Girl Guide at course and distance. Handles any track condition and had 3 of 5 runs last prep as forgives. Barrier 5, will be on speed and a huge chance.
Precious Gem: Finished last prep with a massive Mares grade win at Flemington. Harder here back in distance.. never won at distance or first up. Goes okay on wet.
Scarlet Billows: Good form all prep. Barrier 2 will see her need to get back to last today for mine. Best runs have been on dryer grounds than this.. consistent type up to a grade she looks outclassed in for mine at weights.
Soosa Rama: Just simply not going good enough even though she had no luck last start. Bet around.
Tycoon Tara: Another solid run last start at Flemington but just run down. Up in class and up in weight… handles wet but best runs on good.
Sentfromthestars: Back in class got a win last start at Sandown with a good run from the back. Has ability but barrier 1 hurts all chances.
Refer: First up. Others preferred in this class over this distance.
Comments: Betting around Girl Guide here based on prices. Politeness will have every chance today with this track and barrier while Griante is a super consistent horse and has a win over Girl Guide on the form guide also and is big overs here.
