Moonee Valley Race 2
King Way has gone a very long way in a short amount of time from a BM-64 race straight to being a Listed grade 2nd placed horse last start showing just how poor the race really was. This to my eye is much harder and I have to lay the horse.
Chequered Flag is the quality horse in this race i’m most keen on seeing here with a 0.1L defeat to Yogi two back at Flemington over 2500m in this class before a strong 2nd in the JJ Hurdle last start. Was no where near fit as well when ran at Flemington and will be rock solid here.
Comments: This is a real low grade staying contest. I’m happy to take in King Way on form, Sly Romance at the distance and Bling Dynasty on what looks at best sub standard form lines for this.

Moonee Valley Race 5
Two standouts i’m keen to get involved with while I’d have to saver Miss Vista.
Wait for No One is a horse that has measured up in Group races in the past with a 7th in Group 1 company over 1200m while going very close in G3 company twice. Best runs have clearly been 1000m and looks the type that just would appreciate the step back to the 955m here. Will be pushing forward from the middle gate and hard to catch.
Iconic is a huge watch horse today of a get back run on nature. Horse hasn’t won since 2014 at course in Listed grade over 1000m. Raquel Clark comes over for the one ride on this $50 pop. From Barrier 3 expect he will be ridden for luck midfield at best. The first up run was sensational losing a plate and running 0.7L 4th behind three talented horses. Showpero was 3rd and had come off a Handicap win beating Quilista the previous start. Boggoms has a 2nd to Karacatis beating Sebring Sun on the record while Cashed has strong Gun Case form and beat Lankan Rupee in the Schillaci Stakes at Caulfield in the past.
Comments: I’m most keen to play Iconic on the 1 win 2 place ratio here but there is every chance if Dicko finds Wait for No One from the yard i’ll have a big lash on it as well.

Strategy: 1 unit Iconic @ $51. 2 units @ $15 to place.
Moonee Valley Race 6
There are some quality runners here, but are they the real deals? Ebediyin won well last start saving ground and has to improve from that run. Violate had every chance last start . Niminypiminy never got a run last start at Flemington but wasn’t exactly travelling. Black Sheep isn’t going that well based on current form and Cosmic Lights failed on the heavy last start in similar grade.
Sebring Dream is a standout on the first up run who is well back in grade, well weighted and most importantly up in distance in what looks a very suitable race.
Radical is the most interesting runner of the lot today. Held up for runs last start he was really a moral beaten. Sin to Win has won well since. Goes well at track and maps a dream from barrier 3.
Comments: Very keen on Radical today. As long as we get a clear run Radical is a clear top chance. Betting up.
