Happy New Year to all of our readers. We are taking a slightly different direction in 2012 with our Horse Racing Tips. While we will be reviewing whole day’s racing for large events, on other weeks we will be trying to look at more races and to select what we view is value and the better bets overall. We will also be stepping back into tipping up our favourite NBA tip or two of the night on our Twitter account (won’t be pushing it towards the website). As always, use our bets below as information to help you out with the form.
Warwick Farm Race 1
Pimpala Destiny won a trial by 0.2L at Warwick Farm so we know it likes the track. Surely it may be outclassed but at the huge price, it is worth looking into.

Warwick Farm Race 2
Cindarockinrella enjoyed a good ground last up and down in grade looks prime with only a 1.5kg rise in weight. With a 2 wins 1 place over 1400, we like it’s chances at this price.

Warwick Farm Race 5 – Best Bet
Irish Love is a class horse but has been struggling. It’s last win was over class in-form horse Kontiki Park in a significantly harder race. Irish love is 2 wins 4 places from 7 runs over 1600 and has been wanting a longer distance it’s last two runs. Looks suited here at a great price.

Warwick Farm Race 6
There are two horses at big odds we like in this race. Our Cannavaro was running very consistently in this grade three months back before a spell with 3 places and a win from five starts. The other horse with a good chance is One Way Ticket. A very smart run two back behind Wazn is enough to convince us OWT can run well in this grade.

Caulfield Race 5
We love Galbraith after a great $26-1 win a month back. This is a much harder task for it here today. Will the 1200m suit? Does it have too much weight on it’s back? All questions we can’t answer without putting our money where our mouth is. At the current price, we are happy to spec it with a bigger place bet than normal and a small win bet.
Currently $41/$9 Fixed
Caulfield Race 8
Token of Honour is claiming 3kg so running of of 51kg which is the lowest it has been off in a long time. Two runs back won a 1720m race in a similar class. Should run on well today from the perfect gate.
Saver bet on The Big Steel.

We love a great place multibet and we are using some of our tips in this post to make a nice 500-1 multibet.
Pimpala Destiny, Irish Love, The Big Steel and Galbraith depending on where you place the bet will get you anywhere from 400-600 odds fixed.
