Race 3 – Flying Hula at $5.20

Race 7 – Two Sugars at $3.70
Race 1
We like the look of Orchard Street in this race. Coming in off a last up win at Caulfield and it’s best record is on slow/dead tracks so it will enjoy the wet track today. Has some good times and should run well.
Back Orchard Street 0.5 Units E/W at $6
Race 2
Cheerful Jury has only won 2 races from 45.. so we are not saying this is a massive tipup. The last run by Cheerfyl Jury was SUPER impressive 3rd behind Full Pearl (2L) over the same distance. Worth a good spec.
The other horse we like is The Wingman. He has been within 2.3L the last 5 starts and finally got up last up in a harder race vs an impressive horse called Skybee. Likes a dead track and will run well.
Back Wingman 1 Unit E/W at $8 and Cheerful Jury 0.5 Units E/W at $24
Race 3
Flying Hula is the standout horse here and with only 52.5kg on it’s back and a 2 wins from 3 starts over distance, you cannot look anywhere else. There are a few with claims such as Chartreux, Gatecrusher and LookLook but Flying Hula should get the run of the race and win by lengths.
Back Flying Hula 1.5 Units E/W at $5.20
Race 4
Based on times in their first runs, Heart of Melbourrne and Consecrate stand out here for us.
Both ran very fast 1000m times and off of no weight on their backs should run well. We have Heart of Melbourne on top due to a slightly better time, leading all the way and on a dead track.
Back Heart Of Melbourne 1 Unit E/W at $8.50 and Consecrate 0.5 Units E/W at $15
Race 5
There are two quality stand out horses in this race. The first is Psychologist who comes in off a good weight and likes a dead track and caulfield, very unlucky not to win last up. Barrier suits and will get the run of the race.
The other horse i There’s Only One. Having won it’s last 4 and started no longer than $2.60 in it’s last three, it is deserving of a bet even if it is back to 1200 today.
Back Psychologist 1 Unit E/W at $7.40 and There’s Only One 0.5 Units E/W at $6.40
Race 6
Excuse Alpha Proxima for last start slowly away. Goes well on a dead track 1/1 from 3 and won it’s only start two back here. Barrier suits also and will run well.
The other horse we love here is Cellarmaster. Large potential in this horse and ran very well first up last start. Is 3/3 from 7 over this distance and 2/0 from 3 second up so expect a bold run. Barrier 6 will make it a easy run and closer to the front than last start where it had to come from too far back late.
Back Alpha Proxima 1 Unit E/W at $18 and Cellarmaster 1 Unit E/W at $7.20
Race 7
Two Suggars has won it’s last three and starts in equal class at a massive price. Ran a very good time to win last up and can do it again
We also like Mosse Diva who won it’s 3F-Maiden last start by 5.3L in a good 1.23.3 Dead track time. Barrier 4 will suit and comes in very well here.
Back Two Sugars 1 Unit E/W at $11 and Mosse Diva 1 Unit E/W at $11
Race 8 – Not too keen this race
A wide open race with many a horses. Crawfish ran very well first up over 1200m to win at Sale. Down 1.5kg, the only concern is the barrier draw.
Supreme De Lago is a horse with alot of talent but has done too much wrong in it’s previous runs. Went well last up blocked for run and could produce best as last time.
Finally, we really like Produced at a massive price. If the pace is slow upfront then Produced can control this race back to manageable pace that he can win it from. Anything faster than 1.11 will NOT suit though. It’s a spec after all.
Back Crawfish 0.5 Units E/W at $10.20, Supreme De Lago 0.5 Units E/W at $19 and Produced 0.2 Units E/W at $50+
