Gold Coast Race 5 – Magic Millions 2YO Classic – 1200m
We like the look of Mrs Gray in this race at a very healthy $50/$12+.
On a very winable low weight and can run on any type oftrack, has been in both of it’s last two runs and has the fastest 1000m time of anyone in the race and a very fast 1100 time for a 2YO when it Hung Out last start 2nd. Barrier 19 obviously a big disadvantage but should try and work forward of pack early and be in it at the end with a fast pace expected.
Flemington Race 3
Ravenous Lass was very impressive last up and will continue to impress here with a win.
Massive 56.3 and 56.6 1000m times over good track and comes in well on weights. Others with a chance are Stike The Tiger who is 4kg better off than Rav Lass (lost by 1.3L to it last up) and Rorke’s Drift is also in it (Taking all the form from this one race).
All three horses are nice prices (Rav is $7 fixed right now) and should be used in Tri/F4!
Flemington Race 5
Lonhreign has been running well recently over 1400 and last start at 1600 came very close on a dead track.
Has only ever won on a Good track and is 2/1 from 4 on Good and 1/2 from 4 on the track. So we know it loves a long straight and will come from the back of the field late. Low weight of 54kg is favourable and very fast 1400’s shows it will be there at the end.

Flemington Race 6
We like three horses in this race.
The one we like the most is By The Way. As long as the pace is letting the swoopers come from the back then By The Way should be in this with 2/2 from 7 on Good, 2/2 from 8 on this distance and 1/1 from 3 on this track. Two great runs after a well deserved break has seen By The Way win by 1.5L on this track in blistering time over 1420 and very unlucky last up to not win. Will be hard to beat.
The two we think can do it are At The Heads and There’s Only One. At The Heads will be in the top 4 horses all the way around this race and is major overs when you consider the vet exam after last up. Also consider At The Heads has been $2.60, $4.50, $8.50, $6.00 and $4.50 the last 5 starts and is currently $12 fixed. 3/3 from 10 over this distance and 1/1 from 5 on this track and running well on Good, will be hard to beat. Also has a similar last two runs over Flemington.
There’s Only One has won it’s last five runs and deserves to be included.
Flemington Race 8
In race 8 at Flemington we have heard good word for Sean Baile Mor so keep a look out for that also. This isn’t a tip up but more a consider option
