Aliberani is suited to win this race. Has won 3 from 3 on Heavy including last start at course and similar distance. Will either lead this up in a slow pace or take a sit and be ready to pounce.

Strategy: Back Aliberani to win straight out.
Sandown Race 5
Angelology let us down last week and we just can’t back the horse again today. There are two horses who stand out in this race and one of them is 2kg better off against the other.. but speedmaps poorly.
Arch Fire seemed to be back to his best form last start but just couldn’t find enough to get past Police Gazette. Meets the horse 2kg better at the weights but speedmaps to go very far back today. Has no real form on wet tracks.
Police Gazette speedmaps to win this race today. Should get a sit 1 out 1 back or 1 out 2 back and with Razor the only clear leader in the race, Police looks suited by the heavy track and is ready to let go around the turn and get to the line first.

Strategy: You can take one of two strategies here. Back Police Gazette to win or lay Arch Fire to win. I suspect something else will beat Arch Fire home today even if Police doesn’t win.
Sandown Race 6
Not overly confident in a wide open race. Oamaru Rose looks fairly average today at the weights so I am happy to look around it.
Weekend Special meets the horse 3.5kg better off today and speed maps well here. I suspect he will be the one to beat today.
If anything is going to swoop late in this race, it is FlyingConi. Last prep form stacks up well enough to win this.

Strategy: Small bets.
Sandown Race 7
Rock Princess off 55kg sticks out here today. Won 4 from 5 on Heavy including last 3 on Heavy at Course! Didn’t have best runs last three on Good and Dead (although the run on dead was good enough in Mares class).
Triple Tee looks the obvious danger. You get the feeling the horse will eat up the ground and maps well.

Strategy: Small bets on both runners.
