Welcome to The Profits form guide for 6 January 2016 at Sandown. Back to the longer straights of Sandown today and we are keen on three runners today. Unit staking is fairly high especially on our best of the day Camdus. I wouldn’t look past a double on our two best also at the price! As always, i hope your form matches up with mine. Sandown Race 1 – Miss Softhands for 2 units @ $2.30 to win
Miss Softhands SMASHED them first up at Sale in similar company to this today. Has run well at this track in the past and with such a small field will have no troubles finding a spot near the back and getting runs. Shacarde looks the main danger and you can consider saver betting.
Sandown Race 6 – Tigidig Tigidig for 0.75 units @ $5/$2 Each-Way
I never thought i’d be keen to back old mate Tigidig again after he finally got his maiden, but since his spell, he has trained on and it appears everything has clicked for him this prep coming off a very good run at Moonee Valley. The only negative is the wide barrier but with such a long straight, they can try and jump him and see if they get an early spot and if not drift him back. Step up to 1200m is ideal 3rd up.
Sandown Race 7 – Camdus for 3 units @ $2.25 to win
Very strong win last start at course over 1200m in a very reasonable time. They ran on out front and he enjoyed the tempo. There doesn’t appear to be any real leader in the race so he should jump and either get the lead or find one who will and enjoy a strong on speed run. He was only improving last start through the line when beating off the challenger who finished 1.5L off him.. with a further 3 lengths to 3rd in the 15 horse race.
