Welcome to The Profits form guide for 19 December 2015 at Rosehill and Ascot. Another day run of bad luck with our best bet of the day ridden incorrectly and our runner in the last falling and dying before the home straight. Time to turn it all around and with Flemington cancelled we look towards Rosehill and Ascot for the answers. As you would expect, i’ve had to scratch hours of work put into Flemington before the announcement this morning and I simply haven’t had the time to do my more in-depth analysis for the races i’ve put up today, but I can tell you i’ve put the same amount of effort into the form for each race as i normally would. Rosehill Race 2 – Slate on Edge @ $5.50 for 1.5 units to win. Nite Rocker @ $12 for 1 unit to win
Two runners who should be on speed today. Slate on Edge ran very well last start at Randwick and just missed. Previous runs good enough also. Nite Rocker’s runs last prep were strong enough to measure up here first up including a Group 3 3rd over a similar distance.
Rosehill Race 5 – Baggio @ $6.40 for 1 unit to win
Big win last start in CL1 company. Previous run maiden was good also. Up to 1500m looks ideal. Maps well from barrier with all the other speed outside him
Rosehill Race 7 – Wudang Mountain @ $4.8 for 1 unit to win
Continues to run well in harder company without winning. Well weighted in this grade today from a very positive barrier. Every possible chance here.
Rosehill Race 9 – Start Wondering @ $3.60 for 2 units to win
Very consistent type with 9 runs for 5 wins 3 places to date. Won in similar class to end last prep. Going well enough coming into this. Claim from Hutchings will be handy and looks to get the lead or sit just off it from the barrier.
Ascot Race 6 – Blackwood @ $2.70 for 2.5 units to win
Huge runs this prep in harder company. Back down to 50.5kg and will sit further forward than previous runs from barrier today. Very hard to hold out here and looks a good price to me.
