I’m not a fan of Monday racing in general, but there is a key runner that stands out, while there is another who gets the right run at double figures odds later in the day worth a small dabble. Benalla Race 5 – Fioravanti for 1.5 units @ $2.20 to win
I’m not a fan of betting on a Monday, but this Hayes/Dab runner stands out like a sore thumb back in CL1 grade. Two strong runs for 0.2L and 0.1L seconds in BM-64 grade, back to this class from a strong barrier, the $2.20 on offer is more than backable with only two real chances to knock him off here, and they will both need to improve to do so.
Benalla Race 8 – Graphitic Gaga for 0.35 units @ $10/3.30 Each-Way
The two ‘main’ chances map out the back in this race and Graphitic Gaga from a positive barrier will be on speed, or sitting 1/1 or 1 back the rail back to R-58 grade here. A run similar to the R-58 win last prep is more than enough to measure up to this class and the 2 lengths+ she will get on the favourites heading into the straight should have her right in it at the end.
