A low-grade maiden on a Tuesday isn’t where I normally turn my sights, but there is a good E/W play in Ballarat Race 2 with improvement to come as blinkers and tongue tie go on today for the Weir yard.
Chloe’s King has run well enough the three attempts this prep, but was never suited last start on the soft surface, yet ran a strong race.
Back to a dryer home-base track today and Rawiller back onboard, this horse will get back in a race i’m expecting to be reasonable strongly run out front – will suit.
Most scared here of #6 and #8 both from smart yards.
Strategy: 1 unit Chloe’s King @ $6.50 to win. 2 units Chloe’s King to place @ $2.30.
